My full time career is that of a middle school Technology and Engineering teacher. My content areas are manufacturing, drafting, and industrial design. However, we explore a variety of technologies in the classroom, ranging from graphics and web design, to electronics and pneumatics.

In addition to opening the eyes of children to the world of technology I teach vernacular jazz dance with Down South Swing, a swing dance company located in Decatur, GA. Along with teaching I run the Artist in Residence Series, a program that brings world class instruction to Atlanta for an extended stay. Dance is my part time job, and full time passion. To keep life interesting I spend way too much time in Caribou Coffee, practice Hot Yoga, listen to music you don't hear on the radio, and read books that I find on the sale rack. Conscious decisions concerning the well-being of the world influence my daily habits. Reducing my intake, reusing what I have, and recycling what I cannot, is my lifestyle design.
